With off road motorcycles often not fitted with even an ignition switch its no suprise thousands are stolen every year! This device is unique and doesn't require a bike to have a battery. Your machine is kept immobilised until the system 'see's' the unique touch key. Passive arming ensures you never forget to protect your machine. Fully encapsulated and 100% waterproof with stainless steel touchpad. While fitting is within the scope of most technically minded people we recommended that this is professionally fitted.
CAT 6.1 Immobiliser
Some motorcycles /vehicles will allow the operation of electrical circuits, such as indicators, even when the engine is not running. This can easily result in the indicators being left on, the bike battery then becomes discharged with the end result being the starter motor no longer turning. On bikes without kick starters this can cause some serious bump starting! On a 500cc single thats far from easy! The CAT 6.1 does everything the CAT 6 does but also includes an extra immobilisation circuit which will disconnect an electrical circuit upto 10Amps thereby preventing the indicator circuit and/or brake light circuit from operating when it armed mode.
CAT 6.2 Immobiliser A further development of the CAT 6 Immobiliser System, this made to order system will do everything as per the CAT 6 system plus includes a third immobilisation circuit to immobilise the starter motor as well. The result being full.....and complete immobilisation of your motorcycle/vehicle. |
